Shrek Forever After
In this fourth and final installment of the animated tale, the giant green ogre is created in 3D. This tale follows Shrek as he seeks some excitement in life, landing in a twisted version of the land of Far Far Away where ogres are hunted and Shrek's old friends don't recognize him. Stars the voices of Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy, and Antonio Banderas. Directed by Mike Mitchell (Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo) who also voices the characters Baba Witch, Melty Witch and the Ogre Naysayer.
MacGruber
When Dieter Von Cunth gets hold of a nuclear warhead, the ex-special operative MacGruber returns to fight his old archenemy with his unorthodox and clueless methods. A parody of the 1980s' television action-adventure series, MacGyver, this action-comedy features Will Forte, who co-wrote the screenplay based on his recurring sketch on the TV show Saturday Night Live. Also stars Kristen Wiig (How to Train Your Dragon), Ryan Phillippe (Crash), Val Kilmer (The Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call, New Orleans), and Maya Rudolph (Away We Go). Opens in the UK on June 18.
Solitary Man
The story centers on a former car salesman (Michael Douglas) whose successful career and marriage turnaround with his business and romantic indiscretions. With Susan Sarandon, Danny DeVito, and Mary-Louise Parker. Douglas and Sarandon star together in Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, the sequel to the 1980s' hit opening in September. Directed by David Levien with screenwriter Brian Koppelman who wrote Oceans Thirteen and The Untouchables.
