This pompous paranormal thriller about near-death experiences will give you roughly the number of shocks that Flatliners did about 15 years ago: precisely none at all. Nathan Fillion plays a bereaved family man who, having survived the old tunnel of white light, finds himself suddenly able to see dead people, or rather, people who are about to die. Imploding TV screens, flickering halos of light and a side order of Satanism are further ingredients scriptwriter Matt Venne witlessly stirs into the mix.
