Morgan Spurlock, having put McDonald's on trial in Super Size Me, now sets himself another mock-heroic quest: discovering the whereabouts of the world's most wanted man.
Pinballing through the Arab world equipped only with a camera crew and a genial waggishness, his movie evolves less as a journalistic tour d'horizon than a series of random insights into the Middle Eastern mindset. Most of his interviewees don't actively hate the US, they just want a peaceful life – and clean water. The result is wry, good-natured and rather flip.
