A young man from rural Tajikistan, unable to consummate his marriage, travels to the city in search of sexual experience and lands in all kinds of trouble.
What starts out as a wistful story of troubled innocence morphs into Tajik film noir when one woman's husband turns out to be a gangster with a psychopathic streak. It feels like a Central Asian remake of some American indie thriller, except that few American films would be prepared to take things so slowly, or with so few words.
