Tom Spicer has "Fragile X Syndrome", an inherited learning disability. In this rousing and affecting documentary, he pursues his lifelong dream – to meet Lars Ulrich, the drummer from Metallica.

His sister (journalist Kate Spicer) and brother (filmmaker Will Spicer) take him on an epic road trip across the US in pursuit of his hero.

It's all heart-warming stuff with Tom overcoming his demons, his siblings showing extraordinary perseverance and the Metallica folk behaving with a decency you don't necessarily expect from rock idols.
