Mee-Shee: the Water Giant (PG)

Bruce Greenwood, having played a heroic widower with an awkward pubescent son in Firehouse Dog, does an identical reproduction of it in this lame water-bound creature feature. Did he know this was the kiss of death to any hope of being taken seriously again? This tale of eco-pollution mingles unpleasantly with a fantasy of a gigantic water creature à la the Loch Ness Monster, sightings of which have been vanishingly rare. One predicts a similar fate will attend this movie on the big screen.
