"He hurt all of us," admits Cedella, Bob Marley's daughter in this hugely reverential, not terribly balanced documentary that really needs more of Cedella's insightful revelations.
The reggae legend is also described as "very strict" and a "rough man", but Kevin Macdonald fails to explore these less attractive traits. However, Marley fans will find much to savour in the rare concert footage, old family snaps and the impressive line-up of talking heads – Ziggy and Rita Marley, Jimmy Cliff, Bunny Wailer – paying homage to the mercurial genius.
