DVD: Kung Fu Panda 2, For retail & rental (Paramount)

Kung Fu Panda 2 doesn't quite compare with The Godfather: Part 2, but it's certainly up there with The Empire Strikes Back in the pantheon of superior sequels revolving around father-son issues.

Unlike the first Kung Fu Panda film, it's actually got a story – a surprisingly weighty tale of fate and self-discovery. Mainly, though, it's an action-packed romp which Buster Keaton and the Marx Brothers would have loved.
