The third outing for the wildly successful Disney franchise sees the gang, now seniors, staging one final musical before they go their separate ways.
But there are plenty of questions to be answered. Will Troy choose basketball or theatre? Can Gabriella and Troy's tedious romance survive? Which plucky performer will be accepted by Juilliard? It's the same schmaltzy rubbish, only with a bigger budget. You'll spend most of the film wondering how the cast brought themselves to utter some of the dialogue (sample: "East High is a place where a jock can cook up a mean crème brulée, and a brainiac can break it down on the dance floor"). No one said being a tween idol was going to be credible.
