“I shuffle around occasionally bumping into people,” explains Nicholas Hoult's thoughtful, “outsider” zombie who becomes even more sensitive after eating the brains of Perry, Julie's boyfriend.

He likes Julie, played by Teresa Palmer (pictured, with Hoult) a lot, abducts her, takes her home, keeps on telling himself “don't be creepy” and plays her Dylan's “Shelter From the Storm”. An undead smoothie then who, crucially, doesn't devour her. Warm Bodies is a smart zombie romance held together by Hoult's performance, a keen sense of humour and a warm heart.
