She said so, all right. Then she said so and said so and said so again...
The only bearable part of this excruciating chick flick is when Diane Keaton's character has laryngitis, because it's the only time her insane babbling ever stops. Keaton plays a single mother who is worried that her youngest daughter, played by Mandy Moore, has made it all the way to her early-twenties without getting married. All she's got to show for her life is her head-turning beauty, her thriving catering business and her huge designer apartment in Venice California - surely, she's doomed to miserable spinsterhood. Keaton secretly uses a dating website to fix the poor girl up. It's just one of the ways in which she behaves like a dangerous stalker who should have been disowned by her three daughters long ago.
