Here's a lovely premise: a paedophile serial killer who paints canvases with his victims' blood is apprehended after a violent struggle. A rural policeman is dispatched to interview him about the possibly related murder of a young girl from the former's village. Christian Alvart's film plunges on through some rankly unpleasant forensics to raise questions about sexual violence and the contagion of evil, mainlining The Silence of the Lambs at regular intervals.
