Emma Stone and Woody Harrelson reunite in trailer for Zombieland: Double Tap - trailer

A decade since they killed Bill Murray after confusing him for a zombie, Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg and Abigail Breslin have reunited for Zombieland: Double Tap, the sequel to the 2009 smash.

The first trailer finds the gang reaching the American heartland, along with a creepily deserted White House that Harrelson’s character Tallahassee appears to take up residence in.

Along for the ride this time around are newcomers Rosario Dawson, Zoey Deutch and Avon Jogia, as a stoner who runs off with Breslin’s Little Rock. Luke Wilson and Thomas Middleditch also appear, as vague doppelgangers of Eisenberg and Harrelson’s characters.

Ruben Fleischer, who directed the first Zombieland and last year directed the Tom Hardy Marvel movie Venom, is back behind the camera.

No official word just yet on whether Murray is also due to return. Potentially as an actual zombie this time.

Zombieland: Double Tap is released 18 October 2019.
