At the London premiere, Diesel revealed the studio behind the series - Paramount - are already considering another sequel.
"Well, it’s funny,” Diesel told Variety about possible sequels. “I was in the middle of an interview and Brad Grey — who runs Paramount — calls me and says, ‘Will everybody come back to work in May?’ I’m like – everyone’s in interviews right now!”
Co-stars who were doing interviews at that time include Deepika Padukone, Ruby Rose, Donnie Yen (who recently appeared in Rogue One), Nina Dobrev, and Tony Jaa.
Speaking about the diverse cast, Diesel said: “I wanted to go out of the confines of Hollywood — go into foreign film markets — and pulled out their celebrated, respected heroes.”
Recently, the trailer for xXx: Return of Xander made headlines after an unusually high number of people watched online. The film hits cinemas 20 January.
