From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Blockbuster studios have seemingly made a habit of releasing numerous trailers for the same film, each with minute amounts of new footage. Following the release of the Comic-Con trailer, Warner Bros. and DC have released an international trailer for Wonder Woman (with customary minimal changes and Russian overdubs).
Additional footage includes Gal Gadot’s titular hero flinging herself across the room and kicking a soldier’s leg (around the 55-second mark) plus some additional close-ups of her armour.
Recently, producer Deborah Snyder said the film will have a very different tone to Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad, saying: "We pick directors who have their own points of view, so that each of our films will have their own personality.”
Earlier this year, director Patty Jenkins addressed rumours Wonder Woman is a mess, saying: “Zero about the movie we are making has been called a mess by anyone in the know.”
In other DC related news, Ben Affleck has revealed the title of his solo Batman film - The Batman - expected to release sometime in 2018.
