Back in 1994, Vin Diesel got very excited about selling shark-based toys
Truly, he was destined for greatness the moment he screamed, "HAND SHARK."

Sure, we've all come to know Vin Diesel as the steely-natured, grumbling hero of the Fast & the Furious, xXx, or Riddick movies. Yet, once upon a time in 1994, Vin Diesel got very, very excited about Street Sharks toys.
A video recently doing the rounds on the internet shows a pre-fame Diesel dressed in a delightful leather vest, flogging a selection of shark-based action figures and hand puppets at the American International Toy Fair.
The toys all come from the short-lived 90s TV show Street Sharks, about half-man/half-shark mutants who fight crime and ride motorcycles; a show that, if ever rebooted today, would 100% end up casting Diesel in the lead.
It's as if, the moment Diesel utters the iconic words, "I've got something here with such fintastic detail it's going to blow you away [gigantic pause]... HAND SHARK", the world knew the man was destined for greatness.
Diesel will return to screens for non-shark based activities in Iraq War comedy-drama Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk, out in UK threatres 11 November.
