From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

There’s a reason Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is the highest-paid actor in the world. In a world where social media reigns dominant, the ex-WWE star has embraced everything the Internet has to offer, whether that be regular posts on Instagram of funny YouTube videos.

Following a video of himself reacting to his debut WWE performance at Madison Square Gardens, The Rock decided to post another reaction clip.

This time, The Rock reacts to The Scorpion King, the actor’s very first leading role that was critically mauled. The commentary - which basically acts as a director’s commentary - is, by all accounts, great. Watch below.

Highlights include The Rock calling Bernard Hill an OG along with commenting on the day he spent “going down a water slide with a naked girl.” “It was a good day on set of The Scorpion King that day.”

Another great moments come when The Rock talks about an intimate day with another actress, who, he joked, “got herself some of the Scorpion King sting.”

Concluding the video, the wrestler turned actor thanked fans: “I can look back and make fun of the scenes, but I appreciate everyone’s support back then because that led to another movie that led to another movie.”

Meanwhile, The Rock recently made headlines after it transpired he and The Fate of the Furious co-star Vin Diesel were being kept apart during the film’s press tour following their public feud.
