This election is still a dead heat, according to most polls. In a fight with such wafer-thin margins, we need reporters on the ground talking to the people Trump and Harris are courting. Your support allows us to keep sending journalists to the story.

The first full-length trailer for The Inbetweeners 2 has landed, but rest assured, all the best jokes have been kept back.

Simon Bird, Joe Thomas, Blake Harrison and James Buckley are this summer for the sequel to 2011’s comedy hit but this time, they’re headed down under.

Will, Simon, Jay and Neil from the popular TV series will be back, with new additions including Emily Berrington, Freddie Stroma and David Field.

Jay is on a “mental gap year” in Australia and invites his mates to pay him a visit. Australia is the “sex capital of the world”, apparently, and Jay has one thing on his mind as per.

Their car is “the classic Aussie shagging wagon”, complete with giant topless lady and ‘Mobile Virgin Conversion Unit’ stickers. Cue numerous dry, unimpressed comments from Will and gormless grins from Neil.

"We're backpacking now, get into the backpacking vibe," Will tells Simon, somewhat unconvincingly.

Creators Damon Beesley and Iain Morris have promised “kangaroos and Australians and possibly koalas” while Thomas insists the next instalment will be “funnier than the first”.

A 60-second teaser clip released last month saw the hapless friends drive up to a group of Aborigines gathered around a campfire, before the England football shirt-wearing Jay yelled “Fire w**kers!” out of the window. Expect more where that came from.

The original film saw the not-so-awesome foursome wreak havoc during a school-leavers holiday to Crete. It took £45 million at the box office to become the most successful British comedy movie of all-time.

Fans can see The Inbetweeners 2 in UK cinemas from 6 August.
