From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. After months of teasing with brief clips and motion posters, Katniss Everdeen is finally back in the first full trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2.

The dramatic conclusion to the dystopian film franchise will see Jennifer Lawrence's heroine confronting the evil President Snow in a final showdown.

"Nothing good is safe while he's alive," Katniss declares. "Snow has to pay for what he's done."

Armed with her trusty bow and arrow and pals Gale (Liam Hemsworth), Finnick (Sam Claflin) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson), Katniss prepares to do battle with District 13 in a bid to assassinate Snow despite him being hell-bent on destroying her.

The nation of Panem is caught up in a full-scale war and what ensues is fiery, tense and epic, as Katniss is challenged with "mortal traps, enemies and moral choices" far worse than anything she faced in The Hunger Games arena.

Will The Girl on Fire survive and kill Snow and what will become of that love triangle?

Mockingjay Part 2 reaches UK cinemas on 19 November 2015.
