From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Furious 7 received the dishonour of Most Mistake-laden Movie of 2015 today, with a whopping 41 errors.

Film fails are faithfully charted in major releases by the website Movie Mistakes, which has checked over 8,000+ films to date.

The action sequel was far and away the most erroneous this year, beating Jurassic World (33) and The Martian (21).

The list is of cause not exhaustive, and the site does tend to single out big blockbusters, but it's still interesting to see how even when you spend $190 million on a movie it still will never be perfect.

The full list of mistakes:

Continuity mistake: After Letty saves Brian he is lying on the ground and his sweater changes from open to closed and back to open again between shots.

Continuity mistake: We see Shaw is on floor 7. However when he leaves, the outside of the building is only 4 stories high.

Continuity mistake: Tej opens the parachute on the rear of Roman's car to get him out the plane. When he does, it blows a panel between the rear lights on Roman's car. When we see Roman's car floating over the trees this panel is back in place.

Revealing mistake: When the team attends Han's funeral, Deckard Shaw is watching the team in a Maserati Ghibli with tinted windows. When Dom notices him he then chases Shaw in his muscle car. During the chase the Maserati Ghibli is seen twice with clear windows with a man in a mask behind the wheel. When Dom and Deckard come face to face with the cars and then crash into each other, the Maserati Ghibli is then seen again with clear windows. After the crash when Kurt Russel makes his entrance the crashed Maserati Ghibli still has clear windows.

Factual error: When we see Shaw at the hospital it is in London. However, the plugs above the bed are two pronged American style outlets.

Continuity mistake: When the Mercedes smashes into the log, the log hits the car on the left hand side. Camera cuts to show the car impaled, and now the log has hit the right hand side.

Factual error: Brian, when confronted with the drone for the first time, goes "old school" by driving under the lorry trailer. However, lorry trailers don't have that much ground clearance.

Audio problem: When Dom, Brian, and Mr. Nobody are in the car and Mr. Nobody says about trying the Belgian ale, he coughs and says another line. However his mouth doesn't move at all during this time.

Continuity mistake: When Dom comes to a stop in the underground garage, there is a drain just in front of his car. When we see the cars reflection in some glass, the car has moved so the drain is not visible.

Factual error: When the house explodes there is a massive explosion and fireball that creates a pressure wave strong enough to send Brian flying into the van. However not a single window breaks on the houses just feet from the explosion.

Continuity mistake: When Brian is about to board the bus, he climbs through his windscreen as his clothes are billowing in the wind as they should. In some shots however they are barely moving, even though he is outside travelling at speed.

Continuity mistake: When Sean hands the photo to Dom, the way he holds it changes position.

Continuity mistake: When Hobbs is doing his paperwork at the start we see him move one sheet aside and the photo underneath is black and white. When we see Hobbs stamp the second sheet it is now a colour photo.

Continuity mistake: When we first see Hobbs he is marking a load of paperwork as captured. On the first sheet, he punches "captured" directly on the photo. In the next shot the word has moved.

Continuity mistake: When the missile hits the parking lot, Dom and Shaw guard their faces. During camera cuts, their positions keep changing completely.

Continuity mistake: When Mr. Nobody hands the Gods-eye to Dom, the way he hold it changes between shots.

Continuity mistake: When Dom asks Brian if he still misses the bullets, there is wreckage from the car near Brian. When we see Brian walk over to Dom the wreckage is gone.

Continuity mistake: When the Lykan Hypersport goes through the 3rd tower's window, the glass shatter pattern is different to when we see Dom stood in the window a few seconds later.

Visible crew/equipment: When the terrorist gets out of his 4x4 there is someone in a hi-viz jacket reflected in the door.

Continuity mistake: During the whole bus chase scene the bullet holes in Dom's window keep changing. Most noticeable when he rejoins the road and tells Rome to go back for the others.

Continuity mistake: Just before the bus flips onto its side, the luggage doors where the machine guns are housed are open. But as the bus crashes they are closed.

Continuity mistake: When we first see the motorcade with the bus they are in close formation. Camera cuts and the 2 rear 4x4s are now some distance apart.

Continuity mistake: When we see Hobbs in the hospital he has a patch on his left side of his chest. Between shots it is either stuck down completely or stuck up at the one corner.

Continuity mistake: When we first see Dom's car driving through the desert at the start, there is only one person in the vehicle. Soon after Letty appears in the car. She couldn't of been in previous shots as her head is above the headrest, which is visible in previous shots.

Visible crew/equipment: When Dom gets cornered on top of the cliff, there is a camera shot that goes behind one of the 4x4s. In this shot the camera is reflected in the 4x4.

Continuity mistake: Dom's challenger is being hit by various cars, 4x4s and trees in the bus scene, and is then in a shoving match with Shaw through the trees. However when he rejoins the road, the bodywork down the side of the car is immaculate. Even though it is reinforced, there should be scratches at the very least.

Continuity mistake: When Brian starts to climb the front of the bus, he has hold of the bull bars. Camera cuts and he's back to holding the door. Camera cuts again and he's back on the bull bars.

Continuity mistake: When Mia is telling Brian he has to help Dom, her hand is on his right shoulder. Camera cuts and it's now in the middle of his back.

Continuity mistake: At the start when we see Dom and Letty in the car, depending on the camera angle, Letty's hair is either billowing madly or very gently. These are instant cuts.

Factual error: The hospital scene at the start says London. However the sign outside the hospital says Birmingham.

Continuity mistake: When Roman starts the diversion we see Dom and Brian walk off and stop as 2 security guards in silver suits emerge from round a corner. Camera cuts and it is now just 1 security guard.

Factual error: Hobbs gets the mini gun off the drone. He then proceeds to shoot down the helicopter. Being a mounted mini gun, there should be no way he can fire the gun manually.

Factual error: We see the cars in a transport plane at high altitude. However no-one has an oxygen mask. A requirement at that altitude.

Revealing mistake: When Dom is chasing Shaw and he has to slam the brakes on behind a yellow taxi, there are skid marks on the floor from previous takes.

Revealing mistake: When Dom is first chasing Shaw, we see him swerving between cars on a bridge. If you look very carefully you can see at least one of the cars is not actually moving. Pay attention to their wheels. The most noticeable instance is where Dom goes to the right of a dark coloured Mondeo. Slow-mo helps but is not essential to spot this.

Continuity mistake: When Dom is holding the photo of Jezelle, the way he holds it depends on the shot.

Visible crew/equipment: In the very last scene where the camera is panning back from Shaw in the detention center, a cameraman is visible in the glass just as the credits roll.

Factual error: During the head on crash with the Aston Martin and the Challenger near the end, None of the Aston's airbags deploy.

Visible crew/equipment: When Dom is in the hospital visiting Hobbs, he gets in the lift and says he's bringing Han home. When the door closes, there is a shadow reflected in the door. The shadow is big and black. But when Dom walked into the lift there was nothing visible that it could be, other than the camera.

Revealing mistake: During the final fight between Dom and Shaw, Dom's stunt double has got darker skin than Vin Diesel.

Continuity mistake: After the house explodes, Toretto is looking at it sideways in a close up. When the screen switches to an overview, he is standing right in front of the house looking forward.
