In October, Steven Spielberg subtly dropped some pretty major hints about Indiana Jones 5 when promoting his latest film Bridge of Spies saying: “I’ll probably do an Indy 5 with Harrison”.

Then, only days ago, producer Frank Marshall said that no-one could ever replace Ford as Indiana, adding: “We’re not doing the Bond thing where we’re going to call somebody else Indiana Jones.”

If this wasn’t enough to convince you that Indiana Jones 5 is happening with Harrison Ford as the titular hero perhaps Spielberg’s latest hint is.

While honouring Ford at a tribute to the Star Wars actor, Spielberg said, according to Deadline: “I can’t wait to work with you again on Indiana Jones 5.”

He quickly added, however: “This is no announcement, just my fervent hope.” That sounds like a pretty big announcement, though...

Ford was collecting the Albert R. Broccoli Britannia Award for Worldwide Contribution To Entertainment at the Britannia Awards, an offshoot of the BAFTAs based in LA.

If you’re not excited right now, that could be because you’re remembering Kingdom of the Crystal Skull *shivers*. Could this be Spielberg's redeeming moment? What do you think, is another Indiana Jones film a good idea?
