Tom Holland debuted his new suit from upcoming sequel Spider-Man: Far From Home, during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The actor announced this week that filming had wrapped on the project, dropping by Kimmel's show to unveil a less tech-heavy look than the Tony Stark-enhanced suit he debuted in Avengers: Infinity War.

The suit also now sports a black-and-red combo, as opposed to the traditional blue-and-red mix; the spider logo on the chest area has also been redesigned to look sleeker. Holland's surprise appearance saw him interrupt a sketch with Kimmel's faithful sidekick, Guillermo.

During the segment, he was grilled by Kimmel over whether Far From Home takes place after the events of Infinity War, considering Spider-Man's fate in that film, but Holland remained tight-lipped on the subject.

Spider-Man: Homecoming director Jon Watts will oversee the sequel, while Zendaya, Marisa Tomei and Michael Keaton will all return alongside original Avengers stars Cobie Smulders and Samuel L. Jackson.

Spider-Man: Far From Home will be released 5 July 2019.
