"We are happy to announce that Secret Cinema Presents Back to the Future will go ahead," founder Fabien Riggall said in a statement.
"We are extremely sorry for the delayed communications of last week. We know we let our audience down and will do everything we can to make it up to them."
Secret Cinema is urging people who held tickets for the cancelled screenings between 24 and 27 July to contact See Tickets with their order numbers and arrange a date to reschedule to.
Over the weekend, Riggall explained that the "very complicated myriad series of challenges" that led to his decision to cancel a string of dates have not only been obstructive, but they have left him "heartbroken" in knowing he has let his audience down.
He insisted there was "no truth" to rumours that animal welfare and health and safety scares caused the delays, and added: "The situation is that the council has a job to do, and they are working with us way above their duty to make this happen.
"The tragic thing is that we’ve built up this trust that we’ve now taken a hit on, and we’re going to have to work our darnedest to make it up to everyone."
