Ryan Reynolds has joined Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Gal Gadot in the star-studded cast of new Netflix heist thriller Red Notice.

The film, which had originally been in the works at Universal but has now been snapped up by Netflix, stars Jumanji actor Johnson as an Interpol agent responsible for capturing the most wanted art thief in the world.

Red Notice reunites Johnson with writer and director Rawson Marshall Thurber, who directed him in 2018’s Skyscraper and 2016’s Central Intelligence.

It has not yet been revealed who Deadpool favourite Reynolds and Wonder Woman star Gadot will be portraying in the film.

Reynolds is also set to appear in Netflix’s forthcoming action movie Six Underground, from Transformers director Michael Bay.

Red Notice is set to begin production in 2020.
