Your support makes all the difference.Rami Malek has responded to the viral, excruciating moment where he was accidentally snubbed by Nicole Kidman on stage at the Golden Globe awards.
The Bohemian Rhapsody star, who was up with the rest of the cast and crew to collect the award for Best Picture – Drama, was seen moving to greet Kidman, who had presented the award.
Unfortunately, Kidman was unaware Malek was trying to catch her attention, and turned her back, leaving a mortified Malek left standing awkwardly behind her.
Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Malek said the moment would likely haunt him forever.
“I’ve known her [Kidman] many years despite what it may seem from that video,” he said, after Kimmel showed the video to him and the audience.
“I thought I could easily go up and say hi but in the moment like that… very awkward. I have a feeling this will haunting me on the internet.”
Hopefully Malek’s multiple Bohemian Rhapsody wins – and now a nomination for Best Actor at the Baftas – will console him.
