Your support makes all the difference.Pixar has revealed the story and cast featured in its latest production – a suburban fantasy titled Onward.
The California-based computer animation film studio that is a subsidiary of Walt Disney, said Chris Pratt, Tom Holland, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Octavia Spencer will star in the film, that tells the story of two teenage elves who are brothers. The elves are to be voiced by Pratt and Holland.
Dan Scanlon director of Monsters University who will also direct Onward, said the story would focus on a quest undertaken by the brothers to determine whether there is still magic in the world.
“At Pixar we try to create stories that come from some kind of personal truth,” Scanlon said in a statement. “This film was inspired by my own relationship with my brother.”
Hollywood Reporter said the feature, due to appear in cinemas on March 6 2020 he film will be a reunion for Marvel Studios’ Pratt and Holland, who appeared together in this summer’s Avengers: Infinity War. Pratt also appeared in Universal’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
It said Pixar is coming off the success of The Incredibles 2, which earned more than $1.2bon globally and has become the studio’s highest-grossing film of all time. It has Toy Story 4 out next June.
