Midnight 'Twilight' parties await 'New Moon' DVD

On March 20, at 12:01 am, the much-anticipated Twilight: New Moon lands at stores across the US and fans are planning to party. Adding to the thrill, the studio will send some Twilight stars to secret locations across the country in an effort to surprise fans.

At bookshops, video stores and locations all over the US, such as Borders Bookstores, the fun begins at 10 pm with the DVD sold at 12:01 am, the witching hour. Games, contests and a ballot will happen at the New Moon Midnight Release Party venues.

A hit movie and cultural phenom about a vampire and werewolf vying for the love of a teenage girl, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Dakota Fanning, Michael Sheen, and Anna Kendrick.

The special edition 2-disc DVD includes bonus features:

- An audio commentary by director Chris Weitz
- Six-part documentary with behind-the-scenes footage from the film
- Rehearsal footage with Muse, featured on the soundtrack
- Three music videos from Death Cab for Cutie, Anya Marina and Mute Math
- Sneak scene from Eclipse

The package costs $32.99. Pre-orders are available for pick-up at the venues.
