Trailer- Maze Runner: The Death Cure

The first trailer for Maze Runner: The Death Cure - the third and final film in the young adult franchise - has been released.

Dylan O'Brien - currently seen in American Assassin - takes centre stage as Thomas who this time around leads his group of escaped Gladers through a labyrinth that may turn out to be the deadliest one they've encountered yet.

This film - directed by Wes Ball - was originally due to be released February 2017, however, an on-set accident which left O'Brien seriously injured forced production to shut down. Maze Runner: The Death Cure will arrive in cinemas almost an entire year later on 26 January 2018.

The first adaptation of James Dashner's novels - simply titled The Maze Runner - was released September 2014 with its sequel The Scorch Trials arriving a year later. Both grossed over $300 million from a $34m and $61m budget respectively.

The Death Cure also stars Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Rosa Salazar, Kaya Scodelario as well as Breaking Bad's Giancarlo Esposito and former Game of Thrones cast member Aidan Gillen.
