Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Avengers: Infinity War has been billed as the superhero film to end all superhero films - though that's far from the truth, isn't it?
Marvel, especially, has set itself up for an endlessly expansive future. Disney and Sony teamed up to bring Spider-Man into the MCU, with Sony still developing its own Spider-Man-less Spideyverse with the likes of Venom and Silver and Black.
Avengers 4 will end Phrase 3 of the MCU, with the events both of that film and the imminently-released Avengers: Infinity War promising to change the game forever.
Meanwhile, Disney's purchase of Fox will mean some major shake-ups in the future: will the likes of Deadpool, the X-Force, and the X-Men soon be integrated within the MCU itself? And what about the Fantastic Four?
There's a lot of unknowns here, despite the fact the currently-released schedule so far brings us all the way to 2020. Here's all the Marvel movies we know are being released, in order.
Avengers: Infinity War hits UK cinemas 26 April.
