Marvel Studios’ The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision, and Loki are coming soon to Disney+

A leaked image from the set of a new Marvel project might have just revealed a comic book twist.

Tom Hiddleston is currently busy filming the new Loki television series, which will debut on Disney+ in the UK in 2021.

Not much is known about the show other than the fact it will show the character using the Tesseract to travel through time and alter human history following the events of Avengers: Endgame.

However, one big detail might have just been unveiled in photos of the show’s production, which were posted to Reddit.

The image in question shows actor Sophia Di Martino having a break in between filming – but underneath her coat is a costume that looks very similar to Loki’s Asgardian outfit, prompting many to think the series will introduce Lady Loki.

In a popular comic book storyline, the shapeshifting Loki takes the form of a woman.

Others are not so convinced just yet, arguing that if the blonde Di Martino was playing Lady Loki, she would have to have black hair. These people think it’s more likely that the actor is playing Enchantress, a sorceress who is one of the greatest enemies of Loki’s brother, Thor (Chris Hemsworth).

Still, it could be that Di Martino just isn’t wearing a black wig in between filming scenes. If this is the case, fans will be excited to see the female version of the mischievous character.

Owen Wilson and Gugu Mbatha-Raw will also star in the show.
