Over the weekend, the comedian shared a series of tweets about the Snyder Cut, also known as Zack Snyder's Justice League, all under the hashtag #longa**movie.
The Snyder Cut, released on 18 March, has a total running time of four hours. It’s the director’s cut of Snyder’s 2017 film Justice League.
Jones shared her feedback in the form of short video excerpts superimposed with her own commentary – a format she has used in the past to cover programmes such as the news and the Olympics.
The former Saturday Night Live cast member shared her bewilderment at some plot points, musing at one point: “Lesson number one. If two vans are driving simultaneously beside each other, and not that far from each other, unless they’re delivery vans, it could possibly be ... the bad guys. If this guy steps out of the car, he’s a villain. ... How the f*** you don’t see that?”

She also reflected on a soliloquy by antagonist Steppenwolf, remarking about movie villains: “It always comes down to somebody trying to make their daddy happy. Go to therapy! Just go to therapy!”
Jones picked up that thread a few tweets later, stating: “Let’s get these superheroes some life coaches, man. Where the f*** is Oprah? Oprah! Oprah, go talk to some of them!”
Zack Snyder’s Justice League is streaming now on HBO Max in the US and on Sky Cinema/NOW TV in the UK.
The Independent gave the Snyder’s Cut a two-star review, deeming it “an exhausting four-hour behemoth that doesn’t particularly serve anyone outside of the minority that demanded its existence.”
