However, that won’t be the only time the two DC superheroes meet; according to Variety, Cyborg will also appear in The Flash solo film.
While the report doesn’t detail the extent to which Ray Fisher’s cybernetic hero will cameo, it’s yet another sign that DC and Warner Bros. are attempting to create a highly integrated cinematic universe, following in the footsteps of Marvel Studios.
Already, the studio has shown a willingness to have characters to pop up in multiple DC films. For instance, Batman and The Flash cameoed in the recently released Suicide Squad, while Wonder Woman made a semi-brief appearance in Batman v Superman.
A Cyborg solo film is expected to reach cinemas in 2020, while Ezra Miller’s The Flash will come 2018 and is directed by Rick Famuyiwa.
In other DC news, Henry Cavil recently teased that Superman may return to the franchise donning a black suit, instead of the classic red and blue.
