Jurassic Park co-stars Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum have reunited to record a musical number.

Neill, who starred as palaeontologist Dr Alan Grant in the hit 1993 thriller, posted a video of the pair singing the 1941 song “I Remember You” on Twitter.

Goldblum, who played Dr Ian Malcolm, will be returning alongside Neill and Jurassic Park star Laura Dern for the forthcoming sequel Jurassic World: Dominion.

In the video, Neill and Goldblum are seen singing the romantic song, written by Johnny Mercer and Victor Schertzinger, as a duet with a piano accompaniment.

Fans of the films were thrilled to see the duo reunite ahead of the new Jurassic World film, deeming the performance “beautiful” and “amazing”.

“This was just AMAZING!!!!!” wrote one Twitter user.

“Two of my favourite people together and no one was getting chased by dinosaurs lol.”

“It's definitely what we need and want: Jurassic World the musical,” wrote another.

Someone else asked: “Ok, when will the ‘Jurassic Duets’ album be released?”

Outside his acclaimed acting career, Goldblum is also a jazz musician, and has released two albums with his band, The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra.
