Jason Momoa has surprised Aquaman superfan Danny Sheehan with a heartwarming video call.

Sheehan has been battling a rare form of brain cancer named Pineoblastoma since January 2017, and Momoa organised a conversation with the seven year old after seeing a video of him receiving an Aquaman toy.

In the viral video, he can be seen shouting “I love Aquaman!”

The actor’s reps filmed some of the chat, which Momoa has now posted to his instagram page, calling Sheehan a “beautiful boy”.

“I saw his video online that made me want to get in touch and FaceTime him and spend some time talking to him,” Momoa wrote.

“If you would like to help out and read more about his story and his family his go fund me is in my IG story and LINK IN BIO.”

He then urged Warner Bros Pictures, the studio that released Aquaman, to “get Danny” one of the superhero’s tridents.

In the clip, he tells Sheehan that he’s “been hearing about [him] from all [his] friends”. Sheehan shrieks with joy, stating: “I’m so excited.”

He then tells Momoa about his love of dolphins, to which Momoa suggests he’ll organise a trip to see some one day soon.

The Facebook page dedicated to Sheehan, which is run by his mother, responded to Momoa’s video call, writing: “Thank you for making this call and for making Danny the happiest little boy ever.”

Sheehan’s mum continued: “And a huge thank you to everyone who shared D’s video and made the seemingly impossible of him meeting his superhero hero totally possible! My mom heart is bursting with joy, thankfulness, and love.”
