From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. Aston Martin’s new hypercar – called the Valhalla – is priced at £1.5m and will be one of three vehicles to appear in Daniel Craig’s final outing as 007.
According to This is Money, the new car will replace the Aston Martin DB10, a fictional model created for 2015 film Spectre
The Valhalla, though, will be available to buy. It’s said to be powered by a specially-developed turbocharged V6 petro engine that can get the car from zero to 60mph in less than three secons.
It was made in collaboration with Red Bull Advanced Technologies.
You can see a picture of the hypercar below.
Aston Martin said: “Employing lightweight construction methods and radical aerodynamics pioneered in Valkyrie, Valhalla will be propelled by a combination of high-efficiency, high-output turbocharged V6 petrol engine and battery-electric hybrid system.”
The currently untitled Bond 25, which was initially meant to be directed by Danny Boyle, was recently given the working title ‘Shatterhand’.
Naomie Harris and Léa Seydoux will return for the film that’ll star Bohemian Rhapsody Oscar-winner Rami Malek as the chief villain.
The film will be directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga.
