What would be most people's absolute dream turns into a nightmare for Rebel Wilson in her newest film, Isn't it Romantic?.
The Pitch Perfect star here jumps into the role of Natalie, a woman who, after a hit on the head, wakes up as the star of her very own romantic comedy – a PG-13 one, to her horror.
Her clothes and apartment are gorgeous, people have a tendency to break into song and dance, and every single one of her swear words is conveniently beeped out.
Plus, she has her very own dream man in the form of Liam Hemsworth, and "a gay sidekick who’s setting gay rights back like a hundred years".
That sounds about right when it comes to the average rom-com and Isn't it Romantic? promises not to hold back on the genre's most egregious tropes.
Adam Devine, Priyanka Chopra, and Jennifer Saunders also star. The film is released in cinemas on 14 February 2019.
