Bronson posted a photo of himself with Scorsese and star Robert De Niro on Instagram recently, alongside the caption 'Religious Art.', with Billboard since confirming he has landed a role.
De Niro is set to play the film's titular Irishman, Frank Sheeran, a real-life mob hitman thought to be involved in the death of notorious gangster Jimmy Hoffa.
Al Pacino will play Hoffa, with De Niro's Goodfellas co-star Joe Pesci also among the cast.
The Irishman is based on Charles Brandt's book I Hear You Paint Houses and will be released through Netflix sometime in 2018, though the film does not yet have a release date.
Bronson will also soon star in the upcoming Workaholics comedy from Netflix, Game Over, Man!
