Over the weekend, in the capital of country music - Nashville - the actor picked up his guitar and took to the stage to perform a string of Hank Williams hits.
Hiddleston depicts the singer in the upcoming biopic I Saw the Light, which has been criticised by Williams’ grandson Hank Williams III.
He claims that Hiddleston’s voice does not match his late Grandfathers. Watch part of the performance below and judge for yourself.
The actor performed a number of hits according to Billboard, including “Hey Good Lookin'”, “Why Don’t You Love Me Like You Used To Do”, and “Move It On Over”.
Hiddleston rose to fame with his portrayal of Loki in Thor and The Avengers. He has recently featured in the Guillermo del Toro film Crimson Peak, with I Saw the Light coming out in March 2016.
