Not only did fans delight in pictures of the pair posing in ski apparel, but many have been sharing photos of Lady Gaga feeding Driver an unspecified pastry on the set in Milan, Italy, before helpfully dabbing his mouth with a napkin.
“Oh to be Lady Gaga feeding Adam Driver over and over again to get the perfect take,” tweeted one adoring Driver fan.
“Lady gaga is really out there in italy, hugging, feeding and kissing adam driver while making a ridley scott movie…she’s literally living the dream,” added another.
A third said: “No thoughts just lady gaga feeding adam driver.”
The Ridley Scott crime film stars Driver and Lady Gaga as Maurizio Gucci, the former head of the Gucci fashion house (founded by his grandfather Guccio Gucci in 1921), and Patrizia Reggiani, Maurizio Gucci’s former wife, respectively.

The film is based on the 2012 book The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed by Sara Gay Forden.
The book is a nonfiction account of how Reggiani was convicted in 1998 of ordering her former husband Maurizio Gucci’s murder. The pair had split in 1985. Gucci was shot dead in 1995 outside his office in Milan.
Reggiani was sentenced to 29 years in prison, later reduced to 26 years on appeal. She was released in 2016 and told The Observer in a profile that same year: “I think I am a very strong person because I survived all these years in captivity. I slept a lot. I took care of my plants. I looked after Bambi, my pet ferret.”
She added on the same topic: “I don’t like to talk about this time at all. It is all a bad dream to me.”
House of Gucci is scheduled for release in the US on 24 November 2021, with this year marking the 100th anniversary of the creation of the house of Gucci.
A specific UK release date has yet to be confirmed.
