Adam McKay's Dick Cheney film, Vice, surprisingly leads the pack with six nominations, ahead of more expected fair like A Star Is Born, The Favourite and Green Book, which all have five nominations each.
Nominations were more widely spread in the television categories, with The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story in the lead with four nominations.

These nominations will establish the early front runners ahead of the BAFTAs and Academy Awards.
