According to Variety, she'll star alongside Millie Bobby Brown, Alexander Skarsgård, Julian Dennison, Rebecca Hall, and Brian Tyree Henry. Henwick is best-known for her role as Sand Snake Nymeria Sand on HBO's popular fantasy series, although she's since starred as Colleen Wing in Netflix's Iron Fist, with appearances in Luke Cage and The Defenders.
Her character is unknown at this point. In fact, there are very few details about the upcoming film outside of the epic monster face-off hinted at by the title.
It will serve as the fourth in a series of films titled the "MonsterVerse": kicked off in 2014 with Godzilla and followed up by 2017's Kong: Skull Island, starring Tom Hiddleston and Brie Larson.
The next in line for release is Godzilla: King of the Monsters, starring Brown, Kyle Chandler, and Vera Farmiga. Its release date is 31 May 2019.
Godzilla vs Kong will be released in UK cinemas on 22 May 2020.
