Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and of course everybody’s favourite talking snowman, Olaf, will be back for Frozen Fever early in 2015.
Directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee are reuniting for the mini feature, which will see Elsa’s icy powers threaten to disrupt her sister Anna’s birthday party.
Oscar-winning songwriting duo Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, who brought the world “Let It Go”, have composed a new song for Frozen Fever.
Fans can catch the short in cinemas from 13 March when Kenneth Branagh’s Cinderella reaches the big screen. Lily James and Cate Blanchett star as Ella and her wicked step-mother, while Richard Madden will play Prince Charming and Helena Bonham Carter is the Fairy Godmother.
Frozen is the highest-grossing animated feature film in history, grossing more than £800 million at the global box office since its release in November 2013.
It is the fifth highest-grossing movie of all-time and falls just behind Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 in worldwide ticket sales.
Three million copies of the Frozen DVD/Blu-ray have been sold, making it the biggest seller of the past ten years after Avatar, according to the Official Charts Company.
