This election is still a dead heat, according to most polls. In a fight with such wafer-thin margins, we need reporters on the ground talking to the people Trump and Harris are courting. Your support allows us to keep sending journalists to the story.

As summer approaches, so too does Somerset House's annual Film4 Summer Screen - and the first four films showing as part of this year's lineup have been announced.

Leading the pack is seminal Danny Boyle film Trainspotting which will receive a 20th-anniversary screening.

Boyle's frequent writing collaborator Alex Garland (The Beach, 28 Days Later...) will see his directorial debut - last year's critically-acclaimed Ex_Machina - shown at the open-air venue also.

Starring Domhnall Gleeson, Oscar Isaac and Alicia Vikander, the film recently won the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects.

Rounding out the current announcement is Billy Wilder's 1950 Hollywood classic Sunset Boulevard and Bram Stoker's Dracula.

This version of the classic novel was released in 199 starring Gary Oldman, Winona Ryder and Anthony Hopkins in the lead roles; it was directed by The Godfather's Francis Ford Coppola.

One of Stanley Kubrick's films will be shown in a surprise screening which will coincide with Somerset House's new exhibition Daydreaming with Stanley Kubrick. It kicks off on 30 June.

With special on-stage introductions, 'Behind the Screen' talks and a film poster exhibition with Print Club London, this year's Film4 Summer Screen already looks like one not to be missed.

Keep your eyes peeled for the full programme which is due to be announced in May when tickets will go on sale.

Last year's festival commenced with the premiere of Guy Ritchie's The Man from UNCLE. This year, proceedings will kick off on 4 August running right through until 17 August.
