Your support makes all the difference.More casting details regarding Benedict Cumberbatch’s upcoming Doctor Strange have emerged, with Amy Landecker reportedly joining the already stellar cast.
The actress - best known for her role in Amazon Video’s Transparent - has been cast in an as-yet unspecified role, according to The Wrap.
Filming is currently taking place in Nepal. Numerous set photos have leaked online giving us a first look at the Sorcerer Supreme pre-magical powers and Chiwetel Ejiofor’s villain Baron Mordo.
Scott Derrickson is directing the Marvel flick, which also stars Rachel McAdams, Mads Mikkelsen and Tilda Swinton.
In the comic books, Dr. Stephen Strange is a brilliant neurosurgeon who loses the use of his hands after a car accident, effectively ending his career. After traveling the world to find a cure, he meets the Ancient One (Swinton) in the Himalayas and soon becomes his/her apprentice.
Landecker is will appear in the second series of Transparent later this year. She has previously had roles in Project Almanac, Enough Said and will feature in Lorene Scafaria‘s upcoming The Meddler.
Doctor Strange will reach cinemas 4 November 2016.
