From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. Disney has announced a whole slew of release dates, revealing when fans can expect Star Wars: Episode IX, Frozen 2, and Indiana Jones 5 to finally touch down.

Notably, the ninth instalment in the Star Wars’ main saga reaches cinemas 24 May 2019, the same month as the currently-untitled fourth Avengers film.

Also in 2019, we can expect Frozen 2, a live-action adaptation of Mulan, and Pixar’s The Incredibles 2, along with A Wrinkle in Time and Magic Camp.

The fifth Indiana Jones film has been pushed back to 2020, along with Gigantic, which Disney are hoping will be that year’s Christmas hit. Three as-yet-untitled Marvel films have also been announced for 2020.
