Your support makes all the difference.Sylvester Stallone has confirmed he will direct Creed 2, the sequel to the boxing drama in which he starred alongside Michael B. Jordan.
The actor announced the news via an Instagram photo of himself and Jordan who will star in the film as Adonis, the son of Rocky Balboa's former rival Apollo Creed.
“Looking forward to directing and Producing The incredibly talented Michael B Jordan in CREED 2 next year [sic],“ he wrote. ”One more round!“
Released in 2015, Creed - a spinoff sequel to the Rocky franchise - was directed by Ryan Coogler who is currently working on Marvel film Black Panther.
The film was a box office success and saw Stallone, who reprised the role of Balboa, win a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor. He lost out in the same category to Mark Rylance at the Oscars. He won for Steven Spielberg drama Bridge of Spies.
