Your support makes all the difference.Warner Home Video will release a box set of 35 Clint Eastwood films on February 16, 2010, as his Oscar contender, Invictus, is under consideration. The upcoming release on December 11, stars Matt Damon and Morgan Freeman portraying South Africa's former president Nelson Mandela.
The massive DVD collection, Clint Eastwood: 35 Films, 35 Years at Warner Bros. will feature 19-discs, spanning a total of 34 Warner Bros films which he starred in and/or directed, including his Oscar winners. Also, Eastwood Factor, a documentary by Time magazine critic and historian Richard Schickel will be included.
The collection contains Eastwood films, from Where Eagles Dare (1968) to Gran Torino (2008). The box set also includes an excerpt of Schickel's upcoming book Clint: A Retrospective, due out next April with an introduction by Eastwood. The suggested retail price will be $179.98, though discounts are expected. It is the largest single artist collection on DVD.
