Catherine Zeta-Jones shares tribute to ‘extraordinary’ cousin
Mother of five was in her 30s when she died
Catherine Zeta-Jones is mourning the loss of her cousin Gemma, who died last month.
The star paid tribute on her Instagram page on Wednesday night (3 March), sharing a photo of a light and one of Gemma, who was in her 30s, with the caption: “On February 13th my beautiful cousin Gemma left us in this world.
“She was truly a ‘Gem’ to us all and she was truly an extraordinary mother to her five children.
“Tomorrow she will take her final resting place. Join my family and I and leave a light on for Gemma tonight.”

The loss comes a year after the death of Kirk Douglas, one of the legends of the golden age of Hollywood and Zeta-Jones’s father-in-law.
In one of his last public appearances, Douglas was frail and barely audible in a wheelchair as he helped Zeta-Jones – who is married to his son Michael – present the Oscar for best screenplay in January 2018.
