Marvel fans have noticed a blink-and-you’ll-miss it Avengers: Infinity War detail in the first trailer for Black Widow.

Scarlett Johansson returns as Russian operative Natasha Romanoff in the teaser for her first standalone film alongside Florence Pugh, who plays her “sis” Yelena Belova.

Also starring in the film is Rachel Weisz, who plays Melina Vostokoff, and Stranger Things actor David Harbour, as a character named Red Guardian.

One moment in the trailer sees the four sat around a dinner table – and eagle-eyed fans were quick to point out a small Easter egg.

It relates to the costume worn by Pugh’s character. Seasoned Marvel fans noticed that she’s wearing the same vest worn by Black Widow in Infinity War.

Considering the film is set ahead of events seen in Infinity War, it doesn’t exactly spell good news for Yelena, who’ll team up with her sister to fight a masked villain named Taskmaster.

Still, Marvel fans were excited – if a little worried – by the detail, wiht one wondering if “a certain someone” will be dying in the film.

Black Widow will be released in cinemas on 1 May, 2020.
