The long-awaited trailer for the fourth Avengers has been released, revealing the film’s official title: Avengers: Endgame.

Watch the trailer above, which features the reappearance of Jeremy Renner’s previously missing superhero Hawkeye. We have also broken down the trailer shot-by-shot here.

The trailer came accompanied with the message: “For those who have been here since the beginning. For those who have joined along the way. For the best fans in the Universe. This trailer is for you...”

Following the catastrophic events of Infinity War, the Avengers are at their lowest, with Tony Stark (AKA Iron Man) adrift in space. Thor, Captain America and Black Widow are meanwhile on Earth, attempting to discover a way of defeating Thanos, who brought about the deaths of half of all living beings in the universe.

The trailer finishes with Ant-Man trying to get into the Avengers headquarters. Paul Rudd’s character was last seen stuck in the Quantum Realm during the end credits of Ant-Man and the Wasp, which was released earlier this year.

Before Avengers: Endgame reaches cinemas in April next year, Marvel fans have another superhero film to look forward to: Captain Marvel. A trailer for the Brie Larson-starring film was released earlier this week.
